The athletic trainers in Pearland ISD are all licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services, and are dedicated to the health and well being of all the athletes in the district.

Welcome to Pearland ISD Sports Medicine

The athletic trainers at Pearland Independent School District take care of the injuries for all athletes grades 7-12. There are three athletic training rooms located at Pearland and Dawson High Schools. All athletes are required to report all injuries to the athletic trainers, so they may be dealt with properly. Each athletic training room has a set time for athletes to be seen, and the coaches will be notified of each injured athlete and times that they came in for treatment or rehabilitation.

Dawson High School Sports Medicine

Athletic Training at Dawson High School consists of a considerable responsibility that requires hard work, self-discipline, and a commitment to the program. As athletic trainers, it is our duty to give the highest level of athletic and sports medicine care to the high school athlete. This includes the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

Pearland High School Sports Medicine

The Pearland Sports Medicine Team is a very important part of the success of the Oiler athletics program. We are responsible for the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of all athletic injuries that our athletes encounter. The student athletic trainers at Pearland assist the licensed athletic trainers in all aspects of athletic training including taping, administering treatments, providing first-aid, injury evaluation, stretching, and computer record keeping.

Before any athlete participates in any in-season or out of season work out, they must have the physical form with eligibility rules and the participation fee on file with the athletic trainers. No exceptions.

Image2008-2009 Participation Fee
The participation fee for the 2008-2009 school year is being discussed by the school district and will be decided on in a few weeks. Once the participation fee has been decided, we will let everyone know the cost and when the athletes can start turning it in for next school year.
