Hello! And welcome to our Theatre "family!"  I hope your time here at PHS is filled with creativity, fun, friendship, and lots of hard work!  This year will be my 17th year as a teacher, my 14th as a Director and my 34th as a lover of all things THEATRICAL!  Along with teaching Theatre I, Advanced Theatre and Production, I am also the Director of the Front Row Theatre, the student theatre organization here at PHS.  We produce 8 shows a year and this year will be working with the Pearland Choir to produce the musical Pippin.

I am a proud graduate of West Texas A&M University with my degree in Musical Theatre, Kinesiology, and Education with a minor in Englilsh.  I recieved my Master's Degree in Health and Fitness Education from Baylor University and have taught in schools in Alabama, South Carolina and Texas.  A New Mexico native, I found my love for the stage at an early age and began taking dance after falling in love with the movie "Flashdance."  Aspirations of Broadway are now just fizzled dreams as I choose to love my gifts for teaching and directing young people and fostering their creativity and love of performing.

Classroom and Departmental Goals

I want students to learn to love themselves and be proud of who they are.  #belola

I want students to Live Awesomly and Fail Gloriously. #lafg

I want students to cultivate their creativity and learn that is is ok to fail.  #creativity
