Degrees and Certifications:
In the past, I worked for 21 years for Arco Chemicals in Bayport, and Shell Oil in Deer Park, in a chemical engineering capacity. I obtained alternative certification to teach 8-12 math and physics in the fall of 2005. Since that time, I have taught all levels of physics, in Pasadena and Pearland, for a total of 12 years of teaching experience, including:
- 1 year of conceptual physics
- 1 year of regular physics
- 7 years of PAP physics
- 4 years of AP Physics B
- 3 years of AP Physics 1
- 9 years of AP Physics C
I am currently teaching for my 7th year in PISD, as of September, 2017.
- Teach better study habits and “grit”
- Prepare students for difficult college majors by exposing them to difficult college level material
- Help students obtain college credit
