  • Benefits of Learning Spanish in Junior High School
    Students are able to explore the language and culture (if you don't like it you can pick something else once you go to high school)
    Get a head start on earning High School Language requirements.

    Spanish I is a High School Credit course avialable to Junior High Students. This is a year long course and upon completion students will receive one high school credit.
    The academic focus is more in depth on grammar, vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension, cultural units  and of course speaking in Spanish.    

    Exploratory Spanish is just that, Exploring the Spanish language. This is a semester long fundamental course where students will be introduced to basic Spanish greetings, common expressions, vocabulary and of course culture.

A little about me...
I am a native Houstonian and Spanish speaker. I attended the University of Houston where I majored in Spanish and minored in Education. Also had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain at the University of Cádiz. I have been teaching in Pearland since 2008.
