Librarian, teacher appointed to state committees

A Pearland ISD librarian and teacher are contributing their educational expertise at the state level.

Pearland Junior High West librarian Kimberly Herrington has been named chair-elect of the Texas Library Association’s New Member Round Table Committee.

The round table introduces new librarians to the scope of the profession, acquaints them with the structure and purpose of TLA and promotes responsibility for the development of library service and librarianship in Texas. Read More
