As an employee, you are responsible for requesting leave when you need it.
Throughout the leave process, you will receive letters and documentation to review and complete. Please read all correspondence from the Benefits Office carefully and return time sensitive documents promptly to the Benefits Office. If you fail to comply with federal regulations and district policy on leaves/absences, your will be denied leave. While on leave, you must keep in contact with both the Benefits Office and your campus/department.
