Dear Rustic Oak Parents,

Your child is bringing home books from our school library today. We have reviewed guidelines for library book use:

    ·        Find a special place to keep your library books so that they do not get lost or damaged

          I suggest their backpack.

    ·        Let the librarian repair damaged or torn pages in a book

    ·        Return your library books on time

    ·        Students must return their books in order to check out new ones

In our library, we do not charge fines for late books. However, if a book is lost or damaged beyond repair, you will be asked to pay for the replacement cost of the book.

Students are able to come into the library beyond their scheduled library visits to check out books. 1st – 3rd grades check out 2 books at a time, while our 4th grade students may check out up to 3 books.

I am looking forward to sharing my love of reading and books with your child. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Happy Reading!

    Christi Christopher
