......Pearland High School (PHS) is a public secondary school located in Pearland, Texas, just south of Houston, Texas. Pearland High School opened its doors in the heart of Pearland in 1937. The campus, which serves grades 9 through 12, is located on State Highway 35/South Main Street.

.......Pearland High School's mascot is the Oiler. In contrast to the local legend, the mascot was not inspired by the Houston Oilers professional football team (the school was established 25 years before the team), instead it is a tribute to an important sector of the local and regional economy; several local businesses in Pearland are related to the oil industry.
