Your Library's Hours of Operation during School Days - 6:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Monday - Friday |
Checking out items
- Students must have their picture ID to check out items.
- Each student may have at most 2 items checked out at any time.
- Regular circulation items may be checked out for 2 weeks.
- Reference items may be checked out overnight.
- Graphing Calculators and Word Processors may be checked out for two days.
- Overdue notices are sent to 2nd period teachers before each reporting period.
- Students are fined $.10 per day for overdue books with a $1.00 maximum when the book is returned.

Library Access
- During class time, teachers will issue the student a pass.
- When the student enters the library, they should:
- Sign in at the circulation desk and leave their pass.
- Get the pass signed and timed before they leave the library.
- Students are not required to have a pass during lunch, before or after school.
- Students are responsible for monitoring the time while they are in the library and for leaving when it is time for their next class. The library staff cannot excuse students who are late to class.
Library Use
- Please bring your curiosity, your questions and your imagination to the library.
- Please leave your food and drink items in the cafeteria.
Library Technology provided for instructional purposes
- Computer lab available for classroom instruction.
- 17 workstations with internet access available for individual students.
- MS Office XP, MS Frontpage, MS Publisher, Inspiration, Photoelements
- Access to a network printer, scanner, and CD - R
- Copier - $.10 per copy. You must comply with Copyright Laws when making copies. Please see your library staff if you have any questions.
- Students who need to share files between school and home:
- Students are allowed to bring disks to use in school computers.
- Many files, especially those that contain graphics, will not fit on a floppy disk. In these cases, we recommend that students use a Pen drive
- Internet Access is available on all library computers:
- Students must comply with the District Internet Usage Policy and must have a signed IAUP form on file.
- Internet access is filtered per district policy.
- Access to outside e-mail services such as Hotmail and Yahoo Mail is denied per district policy.
