Tuesday – 8:20 – 3:45
Wednesday – 7:50 – 3:45
(unless there is a meeting in the library)
Thursday – 7:50 – 3:45
Friday – 8:20 – 3:30
Students can use the time to make book selections, read magazines, do homework, or conduct research on one of our eight computers. With our new furniture, we have been able to create several reading and study areas.
Mrs. Bridges is available to stay Monday through Thursday after school for research but you must give at least one day notification.

ABOUT THE LIBRARY
MEDIA SPECIALIST
Mrs. Sheri Bridges
Mrs. Bridges has been in education for the past twenty years in the Pasadena, Clear Creek and the Pearland school districts. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University in the fields of Elementary Education and English in 1985. In 1990 she completed her Master’s degree at The University of Houston Clear Lake at which time she became a Reading Specialist. An additional certification in Library Science was obtained from The University of North Texas in 2005. Mrs. Bridges has taught in grades 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8 and all subject areas. She truly enjoys her job these days as the Pearland Junior High East librarian where she helps students and staff in obtaining the information they are seeking.
