All applicants must provide either a copy of an official teaching certificate or copies of official college transcripts showing 60 or more college hours.

Before attending your registered Substitute Teacher Orientation you will need to print out and/or complete the documents listed below and bring them with you to the Orientation (Acknowledgement Form, Application for Substitute Teachers, W-4 Form, and the I-9 Form). In addition, for I-9 purposes, applicants must provide documentation that establishes identity and employment eligibility. These original documents must be brought to the Orientation. Please view the I-9 form at the link below to see the acceptable documents. (some examples: a driver’s license and social security card or driver’s license and original birth certificate. A current passport establishes both identity and employment eligibility. Please bring a voided check with you if you would like your paycheck direct deposit. Otherwise, your checks will be mailed to your residence.

In order for a person to be admitted into substitute orientation they must bring their acceptable I-9 ID documents (Some common acceptable combinations include: driver’s license and birth certificate or driver’s license and social security card or passport. For a complete listing of acceptable documents, please see the I-9 form instructions). If the person does not have these documents, they will need to attend a later substitute orientation.
