Child Identification for Special Education
The philosophy of Pearland ISD's Child  Identification program is to provide a free appropriate public education to all qualifying individuals with disabilities, ages 3-21, who live in the district. This program is accomplished by locating and referring individuals with disabilities, ages 0-21, in a way that promotes collaboration and cooperation among state, regional, and local agencies as well as the community at large. As part of its "Child Find" initiative, Pearland ISD's Office of Special Programs welcomes questions concerning special education or early intervention services.
