Board modifies 2013-14 student dress code

The Pearland ISD Board of Trustees made changes to the 2013-14 student dress code during the May 14 regular meeting.

Pearland ISD will hold a Mobile Learning Information Night to inform parents about the upcoming implementation of a district-wide Wi-Fi learning environment.
The information night will be held Monday, July 22, 6-7 p.m. in the Education Support Center board room (1928 N. Main, Pearland, TX 77581).

Pass/fail option to be offered for qualifying electives

Beginning with the 2013-14 freshman class, Pearland ISD high school students may pursue a pass/fail option for qualifying elective courses.
This new option, starting with 2013-14 freshmen, will allow students who receive an "A" in a qualifying elective class to request that it be converted afterward to a pass/fail grade.
