District soars above state, world in SAT results

Thanks to Pearland ISD's strategic focus on providing advanced classes to all and building SAT skills, students boasted a significant increase in SAT scores and other college prep indicators in 2013-14. Based on information released by College Board this September, Pearland ISD students' average SAT scores climbed 62 points, as compared to a drop of 5 points statewide and 1 point worldwide. ... more info
