Beginning in November, Pearland High School counselors will launch monthly parent summits to address different issues that teens face.
The summits are open to all PHS parents.
The first summit, which will be in the PHS lecture hall Nov. 16 at 6 p.m., will focus on bullying awareness and prevention. A Pearland Police Department officer will serve as the guest speaker.
The goal of the forums is to offer parents a place to get information, ask questions and create parent-school collaboration when dealing with important issues.
Either a guest speaker or a PHS counselor will facilitate each summit.
For more information about the summits, contact PHS counselor Angela Garcia at 281-997-7445.
