PHS theatre season to feature ‘Our Town’

Looking for a good scare, laugh or cry? Pearland High School's Front Row Theatre may be just the ticket.

The lineup for the 2012-13 theatre season is as follows:

Fourth Annual Haunted House, Oct. 18 (3-7 p.m.) and 20 (6-9 p.m.), PHS auditorium. A "scream team" of talented set designers, scenic artists, craftsmen, lighting designers and make-up artists have created a gallery of ghoulish monsters, mutants and mayhem. Cost is $5 per person. Recommended for ages 5-18.

"Our Town," Nov. 3 and 9-10, 7 p.m., PHS auditorium. Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning play follows the Webb and Gibbs families as they live, fall in love, marry and die. Based on ordinary day-to-day events, the play provides profound insights on everyday life.

UIL One-Act Play (TBA), March 22-23, 7 p.m., PHS auditorium.
