Coordinators Tanya Green and Frances Caballero prepare the Swap Shop for customers.

Outfitting students with dress code clothes just got easier for Pearland ISD parents, thanks to the Community Closet/Swap Shop.
The shop, organized by the Pearland Council of Parent-Teacher Associations, allows parents to exchange or pick up gently used clothes for students to wear to school.
Clothing Exchange Guidelines
Clothing to be exchanged cannot have ink, marker/pencil marks, missing buttons, tears or other flaws. In addition, all items must be washed and neatly folded. The shop accepts only standardized dress code jumpers, polo shirts, pants, skirts, shorts (elementary school only), belts (no big chains or logos), jackets and sweaters.
Donations of acceptable clothing and nice shoes are always welcome.
Clothing Vouchers
Parents may also pick out clothes without exchanging. For clothing vouchers, contact a school nurse, counselor, Communities in Schools representative, principal or a community closet coordinator (contact information below).
Parents may set up an appointment or visit the shop during regularly scheduled hours.
Location/Dates
The Community Closet/Swap Shop is in the gray building behind Pearland Junior High West (2337 N. Galveston) and across from PACE Center.
