School supply drives support academic success

Community organizations made the transition from summer to school easier for hundreds of Pearland ISD students through generous donations of school supplies for 2012-13.

Pearland ISD thanks all of these community partners for giving students the tools to succeed in the new school year.

Operation Backpack
During the eighth annual YMCA Operation Backpack campaign, Vic Coppinger Family YMCA gave 534 backpacks and 13,700 school supplies in addition to a monetary donation.
