The huge impact of small events takes the stage this November as Pearland High School Front Row Theatre presents Thornton Wilder's "Our Town."

PHS thespians will perform the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Nov. 3 and 9-10 at 7 p.m. in the campus auditorium, 3775 S. Main.

"Our Town" follows the relationship of Grover's Corners neighbors George Gibbs and Emily Webb from youth to adulthood. In this fictional New Hampshire town, the Gibbs and Webb families live, fall in love, marry and die.

Although based on ordinary day-to-day events, the play provides profound insights on the circle of life as characters realize -- too late -- that they failed to appreciate all they had.

Tickets will be sold at the door -- $5 for students and senior citizens and $7 for adults. To reserve seats, call 281.997.3230.
