DHS presents Veterans Day tribute on Nov. 8

DHS Naval JROTC cadets

Dawson High School is honoring men and women who have protected freedom at home and abroad through "Salute: A Tribute to Our Veterans."

The school's first-ever Veterans Day program will be Thursday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. in the campus auditorium, 2050 Cullen Boulevard.

DHS art, theatre, choir, student council, band and Naval JROTC groups are all lending their talents to the program, which will include a live orchestra, patriotic tunes and ROTC salute and exhibition drill.

In addition to honoring veterans in the audience, the program will feature Army veteran and former congressman Rick Noriega as guest speaker.

Although tickets are free, seating is limited. Beginning Oct. 29, you may reserve tickets by contacting breauxc@pearlandisd.org or visiting the school during lunch hours.
