Turner College & Career High School
Turner College & Career High School is picking up steam.

Set to open in fall 2013, Pearland ISD's newest high school boasts colors, a mascot and career pathway and associate degree options galore.

Through a public survey in October, the Pearland community chose a blue, black and white color scheme and a rail cat mascot for the campus.

Beginning in August 2013, Pearland ISD students entering grades 9-12 may choose to enroll at TCCHS.

All TCCHS students will have the opportunity to experience a work-related internship and earn a professional certification and/or associate degree prior to high school graduation.

Career Certification Pathways:
• Pre-Med (nursing assistant, dental assistant, emergency medical technician or pharmacy technician)
• Veterinary Technician
• Environmental Studies
• Plants and Design
• Metal Technologies/Welding
• HVAC
• Engineering and Design
• Hospital Administration
• Finance
• Office Administration
• Audio and Video Production
• Animation
• Game Art and Design
• Information Technology

In addition, TCCHS students may pursue an associate degree in general studies or with a concentration in math and science.

Thanks to this school of choice, students may earn up to 60 college credit hours during high school and receive their high school diploma and associate degree in four years.

Beginning in December, Pearland ISD will offer community information nights to provide more details about this exciting new school opening in fall 2013.
