Information
The award winning Pearland High School Choir is comprised of 7 choirs that competitively sing throughout the area and nation. Singers consistently earn top chairs in the TMEA Region and All-State Choirs. In 2007, PHS Choir broke an UIL Solo and Ensemble record winning 156 Superior medals. The Pearland Chamber Choir won “Best in Class” in an international competition in New York City in April of 2007. Singers range from 9th grade to 12th grade and often sing in annual “Broadway Nights”, the school musical, and pop show productions.

What is a Sweepstakes?
A Sweepstakes is an award given to a choir that earns an overall score of 1 on Concert singing (singing 3 pieces of choral literature) and a 1 in sight reading
(a brand new piece of music never seen before).
