SNHS will be the prominent scientific organization that will engender a new group of young thinkers who will be the future of industry, research, and scientific exploration for America.

Information

National Requirements

• Junior or Senior
• 87 or better (truncated average) in all science classes
• 3.3/4.0 in all classes
• Completed one of two options in science classes: Option A:  Complete at least one lower level honors science class             (PAP Biology, PAP Chemistry)   AND Complete at least one upper level honors science class (PAP Physics, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology H) Option B: Completed two upper level honors science classes (PAP Physics, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology H)

Local Chapter Additional Requirements

• “S” or better in conduct with no ISS/suspension or ALA assignments
• $5 yearly dues collected in the spring (returning members) or prior to induction (new members)
• Graduation cord eligibility is determined from the fifth 6-weeks grading period (cord paid for by member)
