1. My printer will not print. What can I do?
A. First, make sure the cable that connects the printer to the computer is firmly connected at both ends. Be sure there is power to the printer (check the cable) and be sure the printer is turned on. Additionally, make sure the printer is set up on the computer. To check, go to Start, Printers and Faxes. Look for your printer as an icon in the window. A white check in a black circle on the icon means that is the default printer. Make sure your printer is the default printer by right clicking on the icon, going to Set as Default Printer. If none of these suggestions work, be sure to create a work order in Eduphoria Helpdesk.

2. I need a new printer. How do I get one?
A. If you are having a problem with your current printer, be sure to first create a work order in Eduphoria Helpdesk so someone can diagnose the printer problem, and make repairs of possible. If it is determined a new printer is needed, one will be provided by PHS technology. ( Please note only personal black and white laserjet printers are purchased and distributed, not color inkjet printers.) Replacement toner cartridges are always provided by your department.
