The open forum allows the community to share any comments or concerns about Pearland Independent School District directly to the board of trustees. In this setting, board members (less than a quorum) can participate in dialogue with citizens about community concerns and ideas.

Minutes from Board /Community Chat

The Board and administrative team work in partnership to provide leadership for the district. The Board functions as the district's policy-making body, and the administrative staff carries out the policies set by the elected board. The Pearland ISD board models effective school board practices, working as a team for the benefit of the district's children.

The seven-member Pearland Independent School District Board of Trustees meets regularly at 5:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month and invites citizens to attend. Meetings are held at the Education Support Center located at 2337 North Galveston Avenue. Individuals may address the board during the citizen's participation portion of the regular meeting; however, action cannot be taken on any item unless it is on the published agenda. The time for individuals to sign in for citizen’s participation is 4:30 to 5:55 p.m. Citizen’s participation will not begin any earlier than 6:00 p.m.
