Homework is given every Tuesday (due Wednesday) and Thursday (due Friday).  In addition, a Home Reading Log is due every Friday.  Students are required to read 15 minutes every night.  If students read on the weekend, they can skip one night of the week and receive full credit. 

Students receive a sticker for every homework assignment that is turned in on time.  After 5 stickers, students receive a reward from the treasure box. 

Late homework is accepted and will count toward the homework average.  Students will not receive a sticker for late homework.  Homework average is based on completion (not actual grade).  For example, if there are 10 homework assignments during the six weeks, each assignment is worth 10 points.  If a student turned in 8 out of 10 assignments their grade will be 80%.  This grade isn't posted until the last day of the six weeks and only counts as a daily grade.
