Belton RLA/ Social Studies Tutoring Students have a tutoring pass in their agenda/planner that is for Wednesday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Students may use this pass to re-take tests in which he/she earned less than a 70; take tests that they missed because of an absence; take an A.R. test; ask questions about a homework assignment; get specific help on a certain assignment, etc. I will allow up to fifteen students for Wednesday tutoring. Once this number is met, the door will be closed. This is not a social time. I expect students to come to my tutoring with a SPECIFIC GOAL in mind. --------------------------------- Test Re-Takes/Major Grade Redo If a student needs to re-take a test or redo a major grade (grade is below 70%), they will need to make a request by filling out the correction form, obtaining a parent signature, and submitting it by the following Monday (the return by date will be stamped on the assignment). A re-take/ redo cannot be done until original assignment copy and signed request form are turned in to the teacher. I will expect the student to show up at Wednesday morning tutoring (using the tutoring pass that is on his/her agenda) that same week to handle this business. If the student does not show up, the request will be denied, the original grade will remain the same, and the original assignment copy will be returned the next day in the Thursday folder.
