Myths & Truths

Dyslexia is when you write your letters and numbers backwards, right? Dyslexics can barely read, and they don't make good grades. If they can't read well, they're usually not very smart.

Isn't dyslexia rare? Don't more boys have it than girls? Most students outgrow their reading difficulties, don't they? Maybe they just need to try harder....
