HISTORY ALIVE TUTORIAL INSTRUCTIONS: You must use Google Chrome or Safari as your browser. Go to Rogers Website and pull down the menu for Information. From there, go to Student Information. Find the section labeled Social Studies. The first link is History Alive Tutorial. Complete the tutorial and repeat if you want a better grade. Print out your best grade to bring to class.
Tutoring on Wednesday at 8:00 for Reading/Social Studies. Other tutoring is provided by various teachers according to the set schedule.
Team Conferences on Wednesdays and Thursdays by appointment. Conference time is 10:15-10:45.
Students may correct assignments below a 70 up to a 70. These need to be corrected and turned in in a timely manner. Papers are returned on Thursday and corrections must be turned in by the following Monday.

Guest Speakers from different professions--we play the stock market game in my class, so anyone who deals with any facet that affects the stock market would be good. Also, any profession that uses writing to show how it is used in the real world.
Authors, genealogists,entrepreneurs, veterans, inventors, grandparents, city-state-national leaders, and survivors--just a few of our local citizens who would have enriching tales to tell.
