      As an inclusion teacher, my job is to ensure that all students are serviced through their IEP's.  Also making sure that modifications and accommodations are met within each class.  In order for me to help those students, I work in the classrooms, collaboratively with the teachers.  The teachers are the experts in each class.  I lend them a "helping hand" in Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science,and Social Studies.

     I could meet the needs in the classroom, or move to the back of the classroom to re-teach the lesson, or even go to my room to re-teach in different ways with many student--to ensure they understand each lesson.  As the year progresses, I offer tutoring in the mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.  I strongly encourage you to send your child to come to tutoring, even if they want to check their work.  I can and will help them with their homework, low graded papers, and anything else they don't understand about any assignment.  Together, classroom teachers, students and I will have a successful year.

If your child needs the extra help, please have them come in to see me in room #207 I am here daily and I am willing to help everyone!!!

I also work with the 21st Century group after school on Mondays and teach Sign Language.  The students really get a "kick" out of using their hands in a different way.

     I visited Graceland a couple of summers ago.  Wow!  The King of Rock and Roll.  His home is fantastic.  I included some photos from the trip, along with some interesting facts.  Throughout the year, I share my experiences and want to "broaden students imaginations".
