Pearland Independent School District is committed to meeting the needs of its students. The district will continue to offer free meals until May 27 to all students, on-campus and remote learners, regardless of meal eligibility (free, reduced or full paid).
In alignment with its financial transparency efforts, Pearland Independent School District makes available a Taxes Due Calculator tool for the community on its website. The calculator can be utilized to help guide citizens in making an informed decision regarding the Voter-Approved Tax Rate Election (VATRE), which was triggered by the adoption of the lowest overall district tax rate in at least 30 years.
UPDATE 10-19-20: Projected Remote vs. On-Campus learners for 2nd Nine-Weeks. At the end of the first nine-week grading period, parents will have the opportunity to change the learning mode for their student. The learning mode options include: On-Campus Learning or Remote Learning.

Pearland ISD adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 1.96 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately -$28.00.
