I am excited to be your teacher for Reading & Language Arts for the 2020-2021 school year.  This is my 13th year teaching at Sam Jamison Middle School.  I have taught both 5th and 6th grade here at Jamison.  I am also the 5th Grade ELA Department Chair.  I love teaching reading and hope to instill the same passion for reading with my students.  I am originally from New Orleans, LA....I'm sure will tell when you hear me speak with my strong accent.  In my spare time, I love spending time and traveling with my husband and two children. 

I am looking forward to getting to know each of my students and helping them to reach their educational goals and having a successful 5th grade year!!!
