Studying Tips for Students:
Tip 1. Set a timer and study for 10-15 minutes for spelling and 10-15 minutes for vocabulary every night. This will help your studying become more consistent. This can be done using one of the options from the spelling menu on this webiste or by studying both spelling and vocabulary on Quizlet, but either way, set a timer and keep to it EVERY night. Some students might need more time than the 10-15 minutes, and that it okay as well, you just need to find what works for you.
Tip 2. Use Quizlet: Quizlet is an awesome resource for students because it allows students to not only hear, see, and write the words, but also to interact with the words by matching them up and using other games to test how well they really know their words. Some students learn better by writing, some by hearing, some by seeing, and others by “touching” and Quizlet hits all of these areas.
Tip 3: Use Mrs. Panneton's website: Go to the spelling sections and look at all options on the spelling menu. You can download and print any of those pages, or you can simply copy one (or more) down on a sheet of notebook paper and fill it out from there. There are a lot of options to choose from, so just choose the one that works best for you.
