Welcome to Coach Koonsen's webpage.  I'm excited to begin my 18th year teaching and coaching, and I'm truly blessed to be doing it in the best school district in the state of Texas.  This year I will be the Boys Basketball Varsity Assistant and also teaching Geometry and Financial Math.  I'm a graduate of Texas A&M University, and that is where I met my wife Leah of 16yrs.  We have 2 beautiful and athletic daughters.  Avery is 13 and will be attending Pearland Jr. High South, and Alexa is 10 and will be attending Sam Jamison Middle School.  We are blessed to have an amazing family.
