  • Classroom Expectations & Policies

    • Students will read the first 10 minutes of class, a book of their choice, to build fluency

    • All work in class will be worked on to the best of the student's ability

    • Students will ask for help if needed

    • Students will come to tutorials if extra help is needed

    • If homework is assigned, students will complete homework by due date

    • Students will act appropriately in class in order to learn

    • Late work and absent work guidelines are per the district policy and are stated in the student handbook

    • Students will treat peers and teacher appropriately and not cause class disruptions that hinder the learning environment
    • Computers will only be used for classwork in class - not social media, videos, music, etc.
    • No cell phones will be used in class; campus cell phone policy will be followed each day
    • Student will communicate with teacher (in manner they feel most comfortable) if there is an issue teacher needs to be aware of that is affecting the student's ability to sincerely and honestly perform the day's work.  Teacher will communicate this with parent and discuss viable academic concern regarding grade.
