Hello! My name is Mary Price, and I graduated from the University of Houston - Clear Lake with a bachelor's degree in Literature. After my bachelor's degree, I took some graduate courses in applied behavior analysis, where I experienced working with children with developmental disabilities. This inspired me to begin substituting in special education classes. I received my teaching certificate through Texas Teachers, an alternative certification program. During my first year of teaching, the 2016-17 school year, I was honored to be Lawhon's nominee for the Glenda Dawson First Year Teacher of the Year award. I absolutely love what I do!
