Welcome to Information Technology!

Students participating in the Information Technology pathway are expected to demonstrate the following skills: Academic Foundations; Professional Communication; Customer Service; Problem Solving and Critical Thinking; Information Technology Applications and Systems; Safety, Health, and Environmental Practices; Leadership and Teamwork; Ethics and Legal Responsibilities; Employment and Career Development; and Advanced Technical Skills.

Students are expected to take the CompTIA industry certifications in all IT classes (CompTIA IT Fundamentals, A+, Net+ and Sec+). These are industry-recognized certifications. I am proud to announce that the IT program has produced 54 CompTIA certified students since 2014.
