  • 2nd Nine-Week Mode of Instruction Changes

    UPDATE 10-19-20: Projected Remote vs. On-Campus learners for 2nd Nine-Weeks. At the end of the first nine-week grading period, parents will have the opportunity to change the learning mode for their student. The learning mode options include: On-Campus Learning or Remote Learning.

  • Turner valedictorian returns as a teacher

    The sense of humor and passion for numbers stand out when Kane Berger is in front of a classroom filled with students not much younger than him. The Class of 2017 valedictorian from Turner College and Career High School (TCCHS) returned home as an algebra I teacher this school year after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M University. He is the first Turner graduate to return as part of the school’s faculty.

  • District earns "A" in Niche ratings

    Pearland Independent School District received an A rating according to Niche ratings and ranked fourth in the Houston metro area for excellent academics and student culture in the 2021 Niche ratings.

  • Clayton named new Alexander Middle School principal

    Alexander Middle School welcomes Andrea Clayton as its new leader. The Pearland Independent School District Board of Trustees named Clayton as principal of Alexander during its October 13 meeting.

  • District receives superior rating for financial accountability

    For the 17th time, Pearland Independent School District recently received an “A” for Superior Achievement under School Financial Accountability Rating System of Texas (FIRST) for the 2019-20 rating year based on the 2018-19 school year data.
