2022-23 Course Selection
Greetings Oiler Nation!!
Course Selection starts the month of February!!!
*The portal opens February 22nd at 5pm and closes March 4th at 11:59am.
*We will be doing a powerpoint presentation explaining the course selection process to be shown through homeroom February 16th
*The Course Selection Fair is open to ALL STUDENTS and will be held January 27th
Junior Meetings will be held after Spring Break. These will be one on one meetings between the counselor and the student. We will be making sure Juniors have all the courses they need for graduation! This will also be a time to answer questions and have discussions about post-secondary goals. These meetings will be AFTER the portal closes so any changes made to courses selected cannot be changed by students unless they have a meeting with the counselor.
*If students need assistance Counselors are available before school, after school or during Lunch with no appointment necessary. Students and parents are also encouraged to reach out to their counselor via email with any questions or concerns. We are here to help!!

Schedule Change Policy
Starting the first day of school, a schedule change will only be considered based on the following criteria
- The student is a senior not scheduled in a course needed for graduation.
- The student has already earned credit for a course currently scheduled.
- The student does not meet the prerequisite requirements for a course.
- The student has previously failed this class under the same teacher.
- The student was dismissed from a program where approval must be granted
