Students will have homework in Language Arts every week.

• Vocabulary words (Rev It Up) will be assigned every other Monday after introducing them in class.
• Students are responsible for learning the words.
• On Fridays, students will take a quiz over the words.
• Students complete a word chart on Mondays with their teacher and complete study activities every day.
  
  • Vocabulary quizzes are major grades, so it is cruicial that students STUDY at home for at least 10 minutes a night.
  • They are encouraged to use Quizlet on their devices/computer to study at home.

• IXLs will be assigned on alternate weeks from vocabulary.
  • IXLs must be completed by the following Monday.
  • Students must recieve a smart score of 80 in order to recieve a 100 in Skyward.
  • If students attempt IXLs but do not reach minimum score, they recieve a 50.
  • If students do not attempt IXLs, they recieve a 0 WHICH CANNOT BE MADE UP once passed due date!
