  • District recognized with award for excellence in budget presentation

    Pearland Independent School District was recently recognized by the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) for excellence in budget presentation with the Meritorious Budget Award (MBA) for the 2019-20 budget year. This is the second time the district received the prestigious recognition by ASBO, a reflection of its commitment to fiscal integrity.

  • Rogers Middle School receives national recognition as School to Watch

    Rogers Middle School was recently recognized as a School to Watch by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform and the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) as part of a national recognition program. Rogers is among only about 45 other schools across Texas to earn this distinction and honor.

  • PHS students to compete in HLSR Quick Draw contest

    Two Pearland High School ninth-graders, Chelsea Tran and Diana Tunstall, were recently selected as finalists to represent Pearland ISD in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Quick Draw Contest to be held at NRG Center on Saturday, January 11.

    January is National Mentoring Month and this year Pearland ISD is celebrating the annual campaign aimed at expanding the quality mentoring opportunities to connect more students with caring adults by inviting community members to become a RISE mentor.
