• Students are required to submit a Language Arts (ELA) assignment each week of Distant Learning. Use Week 8 (5/8/20- 5/15/20) to complete and turn in any missing assignments from previous Distant Learning weeks if you have not done so already.     Week 3: 4/3/20 - 4/9/20 (Friday, April 10, 2020, is a holiday)

    **Note: Students are required to complete and submit only one activity from either the Reading or Writing section on the ELA Menu. Though the number of required activites has reduced, students are encouraged to complete the other options to practice their skills. Students should still read a minimum of 30 minutes a day to maintain stamina and practice reading skills and strategies.

    Week 2: 3/27/20- 4/3/20

    ELA Menu Week 2 

    Please follow directions specified on the menu: Choose three (3) Reading assignments out of the six (6) offered. One (1) Writing proompt out of the three (3) offered, and two (2) Grammar practices out of the three (3) offered. You are to use your writing piece to complete the Grammar. Please write enough text so that you are able to do your Grammar. In class, we would journal write regularly in class. In addition to the menu assignments, students are required to read at least 30 minutes per day and submit a reading log. 

    Students now have the option to complete all ELA work in CLASSKICK.
