  • As we all are all adjusting to the changes brought on by COVID-19, I hold you and yours close in my thoughts - I am very fond of this freshman group and I miss seeing them in class. 

    • I will be using an educational classroom called EDMODO and all parents are welcome to connect to see the great things we are doing for enrichment. Please send me an email and I can give the passwordI will be using remind to continue to send reminders os assignments and provide quick access to students questions-Please send me an email and I can provide the password
    • I will be using Zoom which allows students on line meetings to address issues with assignments or a place to connect to discuss material being covered.
    • New assignments will go out at end of every week and students will have a week to work on questions. All assignments will be DUE on Friday by 3 PM.

    If you or your child has any issue with assignments or needs anything please contact me by email and I will get back to you immediately.

    Course Overview:


    AP Human Geography (HUG)

    This course is a year-long course that focuses on the distribution, processes, and effects of human populations on the earth.

    Unit topics that will be covered include population, migration, culture, language, religion, gender, ethnicity, political geography, economic development, industry, agriculture, and urbanization. The purpose of this course is for students to gain an understanding of the concepts, themes, skills, and perspectives of the academic discipline of Human Geography while developing higher order thinking, writing, and participation skills


    AP Comparative Government (CoGo)

    This course will consist of very in-depth looks at the following:

    Forms of Government, roles of branches of Government and how they interact cooperatively and independently of each other, Interest groups, Media and Public opinion
    Political Parties, Electoral System, and civil liberty.

    The six countries that form the core of the AP Comparative Government and Politics course for 2018-2019 are: Great Britain, Russia, China, Mexico, Iran, and Nigeria.
