I am Mark Lesmeister. I have been teaching physics at both the high school and college levels for 18 years. I am a former Region IV Teacher of the Year. At other times in my life, I have been an at-home dad, Marine Corps intelligence officer, and physics graduate student. I have two children, both of whom graduated from Dawson High School. I have a YouTube channel where I post videos about physics and a variety of other topics.

Tutoring Times
The last five minutes of every AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2 class is designated as tutoring times. AP Physics C tutorials will begin immediately after class in the first five minutes of study hall.
Additional tutorial times are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:30 PM-12:50 PM, and other times by prior arrangement.
All tutoring done outside of the class period will be done in TEAMS.

Canvas
We will use the Canvas Learning Management System this year. Canvas allows the students to access class notes, submit lab reports, view a class calendar and other functions. To access the Canvas site, please go to https://pearland.instructure.com.

AP Classroom
We will use resources provided by the College Board to help prepare for the test, including online resources. A message about how to sign up for these resources will be sent at the beginning of the year.
