  • Production Audition Information 

    Production Theatre is the top level theatre at Pearland High School.  Students are held to higher standards and will be expected to participate in all aspects of theatre and theatre productions throughout the year.  Students are expected to maintain their grades, be role models for the program and participate in all events sponsored by the Theatre, including but not limited to:  fall shows, musicals, car washes, fundraisers, Jr. High Festival and OAP, ThesFest (and others).  Each student interested in auditioning for production needs to fill out the packet and complete the steps required to qualify for an audition slot.  Auditions will be held April 6th.  Students should have the packet and teacher recommendations completed by April 4th.

    Students will need to prepare 2 CONTRASTING MONOLOGUES for their audition; contemporary and classic or comedic/dramatic.  Students will have 90 seconds, after their slate, to present the monologues.



  • JV Production (I) Class Audition Information

    PHS is now offering a Junior Varsity Production Class (Production I).  An audition is required to sign up for this class. The JV Production class is for freshmen who are committed to performance and will be the future leaders of the Theatre Department. The Junior Varsity Production Company produces two shows; one in the fall and one in the spring. Students are held to higher standards and will be expected to participate in all aspects of theatre and theatre productions throughout the year.  Students are expected to maintain their grades, be role models for the program and participate in all events sponsored by the Theatre, including but not limited to:  fall shows, musicals, car washes, fundraisers, Jr. High Festival and OAP, ThesFest (and others).  Each student interested in auditioning for production needs to fill out the packet and complete the steps required to qualify for an audition slot.  Audition dates will be announced soon.  The students will sign up for a time slot of 5 minutes.  They will audition at PHS in the auditorium.  Students should have the packet and teacher recommendations completed by April 4th.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Hopper.
