Student Council is a learning opportunity that involves the student body in their school and community. We strive to develop leadership qualities, to provide an exchange of ideas, to have a voice in the decision making process, to plan and organize activities, to promote school spirit, and to support an attitude of cooperation between the faculty, administration, and student body.
Student Council participates in several student-driven ideas: Red Ribbon Week (Drug Awareness), Santa's Helper toy drive, dances, and community service projects. Student Council meetings are held before or after school throughout the year and students may join at any time.
Student Council meets on Thursday mornings from 8:00 - 8:30 a.m.
You must attend 6 out of the 10 meetings to remain in Student Council.
You must participate in 6 out of the 9 duty requirements.
