B.A. in Spanish M.S. in Library Science

Lynette McManus

Hello! I’m your PHS Searcy Librarian. This is my 16th year as a librarian, and my 17th year with Pearland ISD. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and a master’s degree in library science from the University of North Texas in Denton. My certification areas are Spanish, English, and School Library. I started my teaching career back in 1999 as a junior high Spanish teacher.

Since I'm a librarian, I’m sure that it comes as no surprise that I love to read and talk about books.  I especially like to read young adult fantasy, mystery, and romance titles. My favorite book is Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.  I live in Pearland with my husband and our three daughters.

Seantele Foreman

I am the Bullard Librarian. This is my 19th year as a librarian and my 27th year in education. I was the librarian at Sablatura Middle School and C.J. Harris Elementary here in Pearland before coming to Pearland High School. Before that, I was an elementary librarian at Jensen Elementary in Pasadena for one year, where I also taught 5th grade for eight years.

I have a B.B.A. in Marketing from East Texas University at Texarkana (now known as Texas A & M University at Texarkana). My teaching certificates (self-contained and social studies composite), as well as my librarian certificate, are all from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. I also have a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from there as well.

I live in Pearland with my husband and two sons who are both alumni of PHS and the Pride of Pearland Band. They are both currently attending the University of Houston.

I am an avid reader. I love reading Young Adult books, but I also meet once a with some of my former co-workers to discuss our monthly book club book.
