Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to my 5th grade science and social studies website! The website will be used as a form of communication for both students and parents. I encourage you to navigate around the site using the links on the left-hand side. You will find a lot of fun, exciting, and important information that will be helpful throughout the 2020 - 2021 school year.
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jacqui Singleton, and I graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am certified to teach EC-6 (all subjects) and 4-8 Science. This is my 15th year to teach, and I love what I do. I dig being a part of the Sablatura staff and 5th grade. Science is my passion, so opening the eyes and minds of students to the world of science is what I enjoy the most. I'm excited to add social studies as part of my class this year. Students need to prepare to head back in time as we embark on a bold adventure together to discover the incredible story of our United States. I look forward to teaching each and every student. This will be a spectacular school year!!!

Conduct cards will not be sent home this year. Students will be accountable for their conduct, but no cards will be used.
No agendas this year. There is a calendar in Canvas and on my teacher website. I will also upload a peek of the week to my teacher website weekly.
You can stay informed about your child's grades by checking Skyward. We encourage the students and parents to check Skyward weekly.
