Turner College and Career High School senior Taylor Bossley won Reserve Champion ORB Heifer, senior Jayce Morgan won Swine Grand Champion Senior Showmanship and Pearland High School tenth-grader Mary Mathis won Reserve Champion Southdown Lamb. TCCHS senior Breanna Camario won Reserved Best in Class in Art II.
For the 16th time, Pearland Independent School District recently received an “A” for Superior Achievement under School Financial Accountability Rating System of Texas (FIRST) for the 2018-19 rating year based on the 2017-18 school year data.
Following an intense competition, Pearland Independent School District students from all four Pearland junior high schools secured 168 spots in the all-region band during the Texas Music Educators Association Region 19 auditions on Nov. 2. Pearland ISD secured the highest number of spots among districts in the region.
