Pearland ISD is pleased to announce optional insurance coverage for the district-issued Dell laptops. This does not apply to the district-issued iPads since AppleCare is already included. In order to sign up for this optional insurance coverage, the premium should be paid by parents directly to the insurance company no later than October 30.
Pearland Independent School District is committed to meeting the needs of its students. The district will continue to offer free meals until May 27 to all students, on-campus and remote learners, regardless of meal eligibility (free, reduced or full paid).
In alignment with its financial transparency efforts, Pearland Independent School District makes available a Taxes Due Calculator tool for the community on its website. The calculator can be utilized to help guide citizens in making an informed decision regarding the Voter-Approved Tax Rate Election (VATRE), which was triggered by the adoption of the lowest overall district tax rate in at least 30 years.
