    *As of Wednesday, May 12, 2021, everyone age 12 and older is now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in Texas.

    Teachers, School Staff, and Childcare Workers: How to Get Vaccinated


    The links below provide information about vaccination opportunities for those interested in the COVID-19 vaccine for eligible students 12-years-old and up, with parent permission. Harris County Public Health (HCPH) and Region 4 have compiled a list of vaccine providers for Houston-area school districts.

    CVS now has educators and staff listed on their vaccine eligibility list. It shows none available right now in our area, but if you'd like to get a vaccine this is another place to check often.

    On the CVS link, click Texas and look for appointment availability at a CVS in the area:

    Answer “Yes” to the screening question as long as you meet one or more of the eligibility criteria. 

    On the next page, click in the green box that says “Click here to book your vaccine appointment.”

    In step 1, select COVID-19 Vaccine. 

    You will then be able to select a clinic location and then pick an appointment time from the list of available time slots. 

    Follow the rest of the prompts until you receive confirmation of your appointment.

    Please note that Brazoria County Health Department does not have a waitlist and appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
