Dual Language Program
In its effort to provide world-class educational opportunities, Pearland ISD has a Dual Language Program at the four elementary bilingual campuses.
Carleston, Cockrell, Lawhon, and Magnolia elementary schools will offer the Dual Language Program in kindergarten, first, second, third and fourth grade classrooms.
Jamison and Sablatura middle schools will offer the Dual Language Program in fifth and sixth grade classrooms.
The program allows native English and Spanish speakers at these six campuses to learn both languages side by side in the classroom. Goals of the program include language proficiency in both English and Spanish, high academic achievement and cross-cultural understanding.
